Outer Layer: Diffuser Plate & Diffuser Film - Provide excellent scratch resistance and uniformity
Middle layer: Light guide plate - Most important optical part to perfectly guide the lights throughout the light guide plate.
Bottom layer: Light reflector film - White reflective film with excellent reflection coating can prevent light leaking and minimize loss of light from light sources.
Surface Treatment Of PS LGP
UV coating (ultraviolet curing coating)
By applying a layer of UV coating on the surface of PS LGP, the light guide plate's resistance to ultraviolet (UV) radiation can be effectively improved. This coating can prevent the material from yellowing or aging when the light guide plate is exposed to sunlight or other UV sources for a long time, and maintain optical performance and appearance.
Anti-scratch coating
Applying anti-scratch coating on the surface of light guide plate can improve the hardness and wear resistance of the surface, and reduce surface scratches caused by friction or collision during daily use. This can prevent scratches from affecting the introduction and distribution of light and maintain uniform light effect.
Anti-oxidation coating
Anti-oxidation coating can prevent the light guide plate material from oxidizing due to long-term exposure to oxygen, moisture or pollutants in the air. Although the PS material itself is relatively stable, in a humid or high-temperature environment, the surface of the light guide plate may be slightly oxidized, affecting the light-guiding performance.
Anti-ultraviolet (UV) light stabilizer addition
In the manufacturing process of the PS LGP, adding anti-ultraviolet stabilizers or light stabilizers can improve its resistance to ultraviolet rays. These additives can react with UV light inside the material, absorb or convert UV light, thereby reducing the damage caused by UV light to the surface of the light guide plate.
