By optimizing the ratio of fiber diameter to the number of laid layers and utilizing a hot-calendering bonding process, PP Spunbond nonwovens achieve tensile strengths of ≥45N/5cm in the longitudinal and transverse directions and ≥25N/5cm in the transverse directions, respectively. This meets the requirements for high tensile and tear resistance in packaging, agriculture, and industrial applications.
Breathability
Air permeability is controlled during production by adjusting the hot air temperature and web density. Typical air permeability is maintained within a range of 100-400 L/m²·s, making it suitable for applications with specific breathability requirements.
